We are SOOOOO excited that SUMMERWEEN is a thing!!! We have been designing in our warehouse with no AC with a smile because we are so into this! We have 5 fans and a freezer full of ice and are playing christmas music to psych us into thinking it’s a bit colder…. Spoiler alert ⚠️ 📢 IT'S NOT WORKING! There are only a couple more days until The hunt for Waldo is done for the year! If you are still needing to cross us off your passport, come see us! We have Italian Ice Pops and surprises for the kiddos and TONS of fun things for you to shop for! Plus, we have a HEFTY collection of fun, bright and amazing back to school supplies or just to refresh your writing utensil collection!!!
We have had A BLAST seeing you and your families come through looking for our striped friend and are already looking forward to next year with Monkey and Dog Books to do it all again!

We have said it a thousand times and won't stop now. We are So. Dang. Grateful. To be a part of your lives, even in the smallest way. This one was for a celebration of life at Temple Beth-El and we could not be happier that the peonies SHOWED OUT for the moment. The Queen Flower Snob poured so much love into the big centerpiece, and it shows!

5 vehicles (12 passenger van, delivery van, truck bed and inside, and two three-row SUVs busting at the seams, full of items graciously donated and dropped off from many of you.

Real life game of tetris because we only had 5 drivers and initially had enough for 6 vehicles, so we had to re-pack a lot of it. (Thank the stars that Holli is our Logistics Coordinator).

Our crew’s tangible excitement to be able to help with each donation that was given.

The Flower Snobs Crew that manned the shop while 6 of us were able to deliver these to a disaster relief location.

Our PHENOMENAL crew spending DAYS organizing and packing these items in our building with no AC! (not one complaint, only gratitude that they were able to help) .

The tears shed between us and our Flower Snobs, daily, due to the unprecedented situation with these floods And the immense loss people are experiencing, and also immense gratitude for each and every moment we spend with each other and our families.

The bill from Townes Coffee and Starbucks for our caffeine addiction to help our energy.

The difference these items made for people who just lost everything.

Our hearts breaking by the events that have occurred while simultaneously stitching back together knowing how much GOOD is out there. How much hope and effort is out there just trying to make it better for complete strangers.

Thank you to every single one who has donated items, monetarily, labor, prayers, vibes and hope. If only our small business can load up this much, imagine what all of us could do to help!

I was just telling a friend how I try to find the silver lining in EVERY. SINGLE. THING. In the mediocre, the mundane, the sorrow-filled moments. I MUST find even the smallest of glimmers in every moment. The traumas and tragedies, included. Does that make me a “Toxicly Positive” person? Maybe? But it is THE ONLY WAY I can keep going without the grief smothering me. She asked me, “Where is the good in these floods? What is the silver lining?” And truly, with these floods come devastating, tragic deaths, loss, displacement, chaos, and so much more…. Unfortunately, none of those can be changed. But in searching for ANY SPARKLE… the one singular glimmer of beauty I can see is massive. It is the mountains of HOPE being shared between strangers and friends. It is hundreds of thousands of people and companies coming together to do everything they can to bring comfort, food, money, help, and prayers. The devastation can not be undone, but so much of this state, so much of this country, is helping to rebuild. So many of YOU are helping. We are one small business. We opened our store as a drop-off location for donations to support the Central Texas flood survivors, and YOU, BRILLIANT, BEAUTIFUL, GIVING SOULS are filling our shop up. With love. With hope. With compassion and heart. We are moved to tears at least 5 times a day from these donations. The Amazon, FedEx, and UPS drivers even get excited to be a part of it. They ALL LEAVE smiling. And if that is the only silver lining, it is that it is bringing people together after there has been so. Much. Loss. We have to hold onto it. I have to take ANY of the good and maximize it. So, we will continue to focus on the good while praying for healing for those whose loss is so profound that they cannot see the light. For you, we will BE the light. Thank you for shining in all of the dark places. And your continued efforts to remind us what HOPE looks like. We love every one of you. If you are unable to donate, just sharing this post is a wonderful way to spread the word about our donation drop-off location. The contents in this photo are likely to fill our 12-passenger van (no seats) already, but we have so many more vehicles we want to fill and are excited to take! If you are willing, keep it coming!

We were holding off on posting the Waldo event, put on by the amazing Monkey and Dog Books due to the immense loss and grief of the floods. Then we realized that there are families that depend on the joy and fun that this event brings every summer. If there is anything we can hold onto right now, it is each other, and the glimmers of JOY that are shared between our community.
After you have collected your passport from Monkey and Dog, head around the city to the local businesses listed and search for Waldo to collect your stamps and have fun along the way!

If you feel so inclined as to help, we are collecting donations to take our fleet of FULL delivery vehicles down to Hill Country to deliver clean-up, hygiene supplies, clothing, and food items. We would be happy to deliver any contributions you are willing to send!!!

We have had a few days to try and get our thoughts around this tragic flooding in Hill Country. They were not enough.
Our hearts are broken, and we are desperate to help.
While we were able to be surrounded by our families, eat barbeque, and watch fireworks, these families were being torn apart by nature.
Homes, businesses, and more were destroyed, but that is not even the worst part… an abundance of lives has been lost. Hope, for so many, was swallowed whole with the relentless force of these floods and devastation accompanying them. There was a moment where we thought… “we're are only a small group, we can't do much” and it turned into the realization that even IF we can't do much in the big picture of so much grief and loss, we CAN provide help to some. A box of diapers and wipes along with water and some food may only make a small difference in the “Big Picture” but to one family - that is HUGE. So, we will be loading up our delivery vans and taking down enough to help, maybe 1 family, hopefully several families. If you want to help, we are gladly accepting donations to take with us! There are copious amounts of lists online as to what Kerrville and Camp Mystic victims need, but the basics are as follows:

Water

Non-perishable food: Canned goods, packaged meals, and other shelf-stable food items are vital.

Hygiene products: Soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hand sanitizer, and feminine hygiene products, deodorant, hair brushes.

Cleaning supplies: Bleach, trash bags, mops, brooms

Blankets

Diapers and baby wipes

Pet food and beds

New socks and underwear

Flashlights and batteries

Trash bags

First aid supplies

Gently used/ new clothing and shoes

Generators, weather radios, and tarps

We can not help with the grief. We can, however, help with the rebuilding and comfort. So- if you are able and willing to donate items, we would be happy to add them onto our trip! Please call us if you need more information or just swing in, and we have an allocated area just for this.

We will be leaving to go down with donations on the morning of the 7/19.
