MEET THE FOUNDER | BRAXTON KEYSER
I wanted to introduce myself and the person behind Gravemind Entertainment LLC.

ABOUT ME
I’m Braxton Keyser, 42, originally from Andrews, Indiana and now based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I’m a husband, father of six and grandfather of one, with another grandchild arriving soon.
I’m a lifelong pro wrestling and sports fan — 49ers, Pacers, Notre Dame Football, Indiana Hoosiers Basketball and Blackhawks. I’m also a sneakerhead and collector of horror, true crime/murderabilia, sports and pro wrestling memorabilia, with a longtime fascination with serial killers, criminal cases and the psychology behind them.
I’m extremely sarcastic with a twisted sense of humor and, yes, a potty mouth. 😂 I love to laugh, even at things and times when I probably shouldn’t. The world is hard enough — we should always try to find reasons to smile and laugh.

29 YEARS IN UNDERGROUND MUSIC
Music and the underground scene have been part of my life for more than two-thirds of it.
I started at 13 with RuptureChrist, recording and releasing our first demo during what many consider the “Golden Era” of brutal death metal.
Home recording wasn’t readily available. We went into actual studios, sometimes working with engineers who had never heard the extreme styles we were creating. A lot of those bands were ahead of their time.
I also caught the tail end of snail mail, tape trading, flyers and zines and the beginning of the internet. I’ve watched the industry evolve into social media, streaming, digital distribution and modern home recording.

OLD SCHOOL EXPERIENCE. NEW SCHOOL MINDSET.
I value 29 years of experience, but I’m still learning every day. I learn from newer bands, younger artists, new technology and an industry that never stops changing.
Old school and new school both have something to offer. We can learn from each other and build together.

WHERE I AM TODAY
I’m the vocalist of Between The Killings and Violence Only, founder and organizer of Shamrock Slaughter Fest, and founder of Gravemind Entertainment LLC.
My experience extends beyond performing into recording, releases, booking, PR, labels, distribution, merch, artwork, production, venues, festivals, sponsorships, artist development and industry relationships.

WHY GRAVEMIND ENTERTAINMENT
A lot of up-and-coming bands have the music, members and drive but don’t know where to start with the business side.
EPKs, stage plots, input lists, riders, artwork, merch, release planning, distribution, PR, booking, promoters, festivals and labels — what do you actually need, what should it cost and where do you start?
That’s where Gravemind Entertainment comes in.
I want to use my experience and relationships to help artists understand what they need, connect them with the right resources and guide them through the business side of their music.
I don’t claim to know everything. I’m still learning, building relationships and evolving right alongside this industry.
