Our boutique is our primary income source to support our Non-Profit ministry of sharing Christ's love to individuals as they celebrate life events through event decor rental, planning services, affordable wedding gowns and women/teen formal dresses. By donating or shopping in our boutique you assist us to helping 100's of individuals celebrate LIFE.

Have you ever wondered what exactly a “Wedding and Events Ministry” does? We know we are an extremely unique organization and sometimes people don’t realize that we do more than offer affordable formal wear!

Did you know that we also help clients plan their special event? By providing educational resources we can help clients celebrate their special day within their financial means.

We’ve have several brides walk through our doors who have never attended a wedding nor had any family members who were married. They were basing their entire planning process on Pinterest and reality TV shows. Can you imagine the unrealistic pressure and expectations these individuals were facing?

We’ve even found some couples have delayed getting married because they thought they HAD to spend thousands of dollars to have a wedding. Or they thought they HAD to have a full blown catered dinner, or HAD to have fresh florals. We’ve also found that some clients were embarrassed because they did not know how to set a budget for a larger event.

Let’s make one thing clear. There is no rule book that says you HAVE to do anything!

Our volunteers donate their time to meet with clients to help them determine what kind of event they desire. They take the time to listen to their needs and wishes and then walk along side them as they work to set a realistic budget . No, we don’t plan their event for them. Instead, we TEACH our clients the process of planning a larger event on a budget so that they can reuse these tools for future events instead of trying to put everything on a credit card or take out a personal loan.

We aren’t just a cheap rental company. We aren’t just a boutique. We are working to build stronger and more stable families within the community as they celebrate their momentous occasions!

Our neighbors at Well Grounded Cafe are celebrating 4 years of new ownership tomorrow! Congratulations!

We LOVE our volunteers who are participating in our Ready and Abled program!

This week we had students from Carroll and Homestead help in the boutique and begin packing items in the warehouse. Simple skills such as hanging up a dress on a hanger or folding linens can help these students be prepared for employment after graduation.

We feel it is extremely important to give individuals of ALL abilities a chance to learn valuable job skills in a real life setting. One of our long term goals is to eventually be able to offer paid employment opportunities.

Happy Friday!

Thank you to everyone who prayed and has reached out with potential spaces for our warehouse situation.

Guess what?!

WE HAVE FOUND A NEW SPACE!!!!

What does this mean?

*The boutique is staying right where it is

*We will be moving our entire warehouse sometime in April/May

*We will still continue to offer decor rental but may be limited on what is available due to boxing things up to move. Those who have already put down deposits and finalized their rentals will still be able to use everything they’ve requested.

*Please be patient as we work to box everything up to get ready for the move. We may be delayed in responded to messages as we work to see what we can realistically have available during this time.

*We will need to downsize and will be posting an album of surplus items we are selling

*The new space is going to add more to our storage expenses, if you feel compelled to contribute to our general campaign we are always appreciative of ever penny. You can use the link ⬇️

Such an AMAZING for the United Way of Allen County at From this Day Forward in Huntertown. Our Fort Wayne's NBC and ABC21 WPTA team worked hard, and it felt GREAT because we helped the folks with this special non-profit ministry that provides needs for weddings and special events for folks with a restricted budget. Happy 5th Birthday to Amy and Heather in celebration of their shop! Today? No mercy for weeds… for sure!

On May 11, 2021, Amanda and Travis gathered on the grounds of the immaculate Duke Mansion to renew their vows and to celebrate a love story that has triumphed over struggle, pain, and sickness.
We simply adore this couple and were truly honored to grant their wish for a vow renewal. Our sweet wedding planner, Sarah Duckworth, pulled out all the stops and filled the day with magical memories. Sarah lined up a remarkable crew that spoiled our couple with delicious food, stunning florals, decadent treats and a rocking dance floor.

Last Friday our older kids got to celebrate the end of the school year with a dance! We were thankful for the opportunity to have some fun, and especially grateful for all the staff who worked so hard to put on this event. Special thanks to From this Day Forward for donating prom dresses!

Shout out to Fort Wayne Pinball! They hosted a pinball tournament with over 100 entries! They did a great job of providing appropriate parking, offering LOCAL food options, and even asked the participants to support our very own non-profit in the Lima Plank Shoppes From this Day Forward who provided a dinner/baked good option. We were very happy to meet many of them. Have you been there? Great place to take the family, or to host a customer appreciation or other event.

Funds are tight for many families, but one Fort Wayne organization is ensuring that all girls looking to go to prom get the dress of their dreams. From this Day Forward is offering dresses for $5.
