Sneak Peak Of Next Project!
Years ago, my mothervgifted me this makeup table with one rule — “Don’t you ever paint it.” And y’all, I promised. I kept that promise… for a while.
But life happened. Time and wear took its toll, and eventually, I passed it down to my daughter. She wanted it painted (white and black). I remember joking, “Well, I promised Mimi… you didn’t.” 😅
Now, years later, in a sweet twist of fate, my daughter asked me to bring it back to its original glory — I have stripped it down, & will be sanding & staining it next!
I just know my mama is looking down and shaking her head with a smile — probably laughing and saying, “Told you not 2 paint it!"
This piece has lived through three generations of women in our family, and it’s still got stories to tell.
