🇯🇲 ROAD TO JAMAICA — WEEKS 1 & 2! 🎲

Road to Jamaica is The Social Point Club’s beginner-friendly team training program designed to help players prepare for the International Jamaica Backgammon Championship Backgammon World Championship Jamaica this September. Through weekly lessons, practice matches, mentorship, and a supportive team environment, we’re building confidence and sharpening our tournament skills together.

We kicked off the journey with two incredible guest lecturers: Grandmaster Joe Urso and world-class teacher Phil Simborg. Both shared their expertise, walked us through challenging positions, and gave our team practical strategies we can take straight to the board.

We’re incredibly grateful to Joe and Phil for giving their time, knowledge, and encouragement to our Road to Jamaica players. The journey is just getting started—see you at the finish line! 🌴🏆

🇯🇲 The Social Point Backgammon Club is headed to Jamaica!

Last night, our Road to Jamaica team came together for our first training session as we prepare to compete at the International Jamaica Backgammon Championship Backgammon World Championship Jamaica this September.

A huge thank you to Phil Simborg—world-class teacher—for sharing his knowledge with our team. We’re incredibly grateful to have you as part of this journey.

One session down, many more to go. Jamaica, we’re coming. See you at the finish line!
