Road to Jamaica 🇯🇲🎲

Over the past several weeks, our players have been preparing for the Jamaica International Backgammon Tournament through The Social Point’s Road To Series — a training program built to help players feel more confident stepping into national and international competition.

We were lucky to learn from an incredible lineup of lecturers:

Phil Simborg — United States Backgammon Federation Teaching Pro & Co-owner, Backgammon Learning Center
Ian Terry — Backgammon Master
Ben Friesen — Backgammon Master & President, United States Backgammon Federation

The goal of the Road To Series is simple: learn together, prepare together, and make higher-level tournament play feel more accessible.

The Social Point Backgammon Club and We Met in Broward are bringing Backgammon Speed Dating to the very romantic Wine Garden! Rotate through a series of 10-minute backgammon dates, enjoy playful conversation, and meet someone new across the board each round.

Never played? No problem! We’ll provide the boards, teach you the basics, and guide you through the entire experience.
