What a night we had last night at Blue Jean Blues at the Joey Gilmore Fundraiser. Thank you Blue Jean Blues for allowing us to have this event there. Big hugs to Mike Ancona and Lonnie King for assisting me thur out the night. Much thanks and cudos to Joey's Core Band who was on fire all night when ask to step up to the stage and " show me what you got" they delivered for sure( George Caldwell, Raul, and Mitch Goldstien). Jamie King Colton who open the event with a Solo set was hot, Billy D, Don, Blues Bobby Weinberg, Mike Ancona,Joe Breitenbach,Teddy Shakespeare, Bruce Udolf, Stueyblue on Sax , Pat Hunter, Sister Marybeth,Warren Hill, Clay Goldstien, Herb Levin, Heidi Rosenbaum John Yarling and the amazing JP Soars who closed the place down for me, the peeps and Bookers wanted to keep on juking all night. To all the peeps who turned up and turned out, Thank you.

Much thanks to everyone that came to Blue Jean Blues tonight for the Joey Gilmore Fundraiser, it was an overwhelming success. I am absolutely sure Joey appreciate your help and when he's able he will thank each and every one of you personally., But until then I thank you. Good afternoon peeps, Bookers and friends. I am looking forward to hosting the fundraiser for our friend Joey Gilmore today at Blues Jean Blues, starting at 5pm. Joey remains in the hospital at this time with serious medical issues. If you plan to perform bring own musical equipment that shall remain in you vehicle until your time to hit the stage. Our success with this event depends on your participation and cooperation. Pray for Joey's full recovery. Thanks so much my friends and I'll see you at BLUE Jean Blues.

BIG hugs to all the bandmembers that performed with me yesterday at the Canyon Amphitheater in Boynton Beach, You fellas had my back 100% as I am still suffering with some sort of Respiratiry cough but we still put on a hellava show. Thank you audience who attended and had a great time and thanks to the City of Palm Beach for having the Mary Washington Brooks band for the 4th year. SEE you next time around bookers and as always bring your dancing shoes.

OK peeps I've been under the weather for about a week now with some racket coughing. The Dr says it's not covid or the flu and gave me antibiotics. I'm on mend for sure peeps just in time for my Anniversary tomorrow. We first said our vows Feb 12,1968 and reaffirmed them February 12, 1995. I am blessed beyond measures.
