If you’ve ever wondered what an effortless mountain wedding looks like, let Mojo and Chris show you how it’s done!
We hiked out into the Crested Butte high country as the sun painted its first light on the mountains. Watching them see each other for their first look and frolicking, surrounded by wildflowers, was the perfect way to kick off their wedding day!
After their sunrise romp, we headed down to Crested Butte Mountain Garden for an intimate ceremony officiated by Chris’s brother and surrounded by their loved ones (and their best girl, Winnie). It was packed with happy tears, so much laughter, and even more love.
Afterwards, everyone headed to Sunflower for brunch, where we devoured the best breakfast and what might be the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had (10/10 recommend).
This day was also the ultimate proof of why splitting your elopement coverage is the secret sauce to a stress-free wedding experience.
Mojo and Chris took a mid-day break to relax, hang out with family, and catch up on Love Island. By the time we met back up by the river for sunset, they were totally refreshed and in the moment. Playing in the water, belly laughing, and completely wrapped up in each other. Splitting your day gives you the best of both worlds: quiet golden-hour moments in the mountains and zero-stress quality time with your favorite people.
Mojo and Chris, what an absolute dream of a day, squelchy boots and all!
