SO happy with how this setup turned out.✨ Not only because it's the follow up to my hardest setup this year, but because I started this business journey with my first paid setup for this family and a year and a half later here we are again. I was able to put all of my learned techniques and skill to make this bigger and better than our first setup together. Thank you for all your love and support Aracely Pech . Every artist has setups that leave them pondering if they should just call it. Today was one of those for me. After hours of searching ideas for the specific theme, spending hours with Mendo mill workers to ensure I build a sturdy backdrop, hand painting and spending hours inflation prepping the balloons. I got half way through the setup and the entire thing fell over on the grass popping almost every balloon😭 I wanted to die. The client looked as if she wanted to laugh which I was grateful for. She was so wonderful ensuring me I had plenty of time to pick it up and fix it. Mind you, this is a pregnant woman with her first baby about to find out the gender. If it were me I would have been in furious tears of worry. Her and her loved ones jumped into action on how they could help. I was blown away at the kindness and patience they had. All smiles the entire time. Inside I was dieing of shame and embarrassment from it all. We got it up, they brought heavier weights, I had just barely enough balloons to re blow up to create this setup. I called my friend in willits to borrow a pump as I was an hour from home and under prepared for a situation I've never been through and never thought I'd experience. I'm home now hoping the rest of this gender reveal went smoothly for this amazing soon to be mama still tearing myself up over having this happen, especially in front of a first time client. If your a balloon artist, you get it. If your a client take this from me, be kind. It's harder than it looks. Even if the setup looks great to you, if it's not exactly how the artist envisioned it, we will stress it for days if not weeks after the setup. This one may take months for me to recover from, but if it wasn't for the clients being as amazing as they were, I may have called it after today. Thank you again to these amazing people and all of my amazing clients who help me learn and grow within this small business💛✨🎈
