She “the commander” was a good one for a couple of years, an absolute beast of a smoker! Hated to let her go but no longer needed. I still have the “Lieutenant” as a solid backup I’ll never get rid of, But I had to thin now that The disgruntled pig is back!

🐂🐖We had the privilege of catering a wedding party of 100 down in central Florida yesterday! The menu was slow smoked brisket, Super tender ribs and smoked turkey breast along with Ashley’s always fresh homemade Mac n cheese, homemade baked beans & homemade green beans!

Although we couldnt get as many pictures as we normally would, it was a success!

Thankfully the Disgruntled pig came back to us & we were able to put her on the road for the long haul for this event! So proud of A Pro Signs & Promo for their amazing graphic design & getting it done for us! Let’s us know for all of your catering needs!

Long bbq post alert 🚨 but worth the read!
As most you know, we discontinued selling in our bbq truck full time in 2022. I sold it to an individual shortly thereafter. We’ve still offered catering & small services since that time. Although it has been enjoyable, and brought some fulfillment it wasnt the same! Although life beats you down sometimes I’ve always tried to keep the faith & believe. I do believe timing is everything!

Fast forward about 4 years. I ran across a random FB marketplace post of a bbq trailer in late January. I noticed the smoker on the back that looked identical to my old one. Turns out it was my same bbq trailer I sold to this individual. His plans fell through a month after he purchased it from me & it was never touched for 3 years! We communicated a while, & I bought it back, unused, untouched whatsoever! Everything original just how I had sold it to him! I do believe in timing although we don’t see it in our own timing.

So with all of that being said, I am very excited,thankful & blessed to announce THE DISGRUNTLED PIG! New name, fresh start, but the same owners, love & delicious slow smoked traditional bbq that we’ve always served!

We are not going full time right now, but we will be able to be more mobile & with more flexibility for events & catering events. We will be getting into events and setting up in certain places as we hopefully continue to grow! We thank all of our customers who have always supported us & reached out to us for their catering or event needs & hope to gain many more!

We look forward to serving you all with the new name, theme but with the same slow smoked bbq, fresh quality & service!

Yesterday we had the privilege to cater a wedding of 50 guests for a service member & his new bride! The menu was slow smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs & chicken. The sides were homemade Mac n cheese, baked beans & Cole slaw, along with garlic toast. Dessert was our delicious banana pudding! Thank you Wayne Magnuson for the opportunity brother!

On a side note, we haven’t posted any content in a while but will be rolling out some exciting news shortly! Keep an eye 👁️ out!

We’ve been under the radar since Thanksgiving as I had major shoulder surgery Dec 2. However, today was awesome as I was able to slowly “ease” back into a few things for the first time in almost 2 months.

All i did was assist my buddy Paul Loerker with some advice in his first rib competition. He did all the work & took 3rd out of 9 competitors today! Proud of his work!
