It is with the deepest regret that we must announce........

​THE GREAT CATSKILL MOUNTAIN BBQ FEST 2018 has been

CANCELLED

We are deeply sorry we are unable to execute our event and we apologize for any unfulfilled expectations this may cause.

We enjoyed an excellent response from sponsors, judges, pro teams, fire company teams, backyard teams, vendors, volunteers, and attendees during our inaugural event in 2016 as well last year’s event. Sadly, due to factors beyond our control which will impact the overall event quality, we have concluded we cannot create the type of bbq experience and bbq contest that would meet our standards as well as measure up to The GREAT CATSKILL MOUNTAIN BBQ FEST 2016 and 2017.

Realizing we would be unable to fulfill our commitment to our bbq teams and our bbq fans, whom we worked very hard to serve during the 2016 and 2017 events, we had to make the difficult but necessary decision to cancel this year’s event.

We remain committed to bbq, bbq fans and bbq teams and we are optimistic we will overcome the challenges we faced this year and produce another successful bbq event in 2019.

Thank you for your tremendous support and understanding. We look forward to seeing you in 2019.
