2025 changed me in ways I never could’ve planned.
In January of 2025, I married my best friend. Our wedding wasn’t just the start of my business, it was the start of a new life with my husband. We made the decision to chase our dreams together, both still working full time, both believing in what the other was building. I started my business, and Andrew continued day trading while working full time as well. We leaned on each other through everything.
This was my first year in business, and it was beautiful, brutal, humbling, and life giving all at once. I walked into rooms I never pictured myself being in. I sat at tables with business owners I admired while planning my own wedding. I built something with my own two hands while learning who I was becoming along the way.
I struggled mentally, physically, and emotionally. I doubted myself more times than I can count. My goals and dreams took off faster than I ever expected, and my husband never blinked. He showed up without hesitation, supported me without conditions, and carried me through moments when I didn’t know how to carry myself.
This year also came with hard lessons. I lost friendships. I grew away from people I once thought would be in my life forever. Owning a business can be lonely, but it is also incredibly rewarding. It stretches you, refines you, and shows you who is truly meant to walk beside you.
To every bride who trusted me with one of the most important days of their life, what an honor that is. Your trust, your visions, and your belief in me mean more than words can express. I am endlessly grateful and extremely blessed.
To Susie, to every vendor who collaborated with me, encouraged me, and believed in this dream, thank you. And to the version of me who started this without knowing how it would turn out, I’m so proud of you for not quitting.
This year wasn’t just about building a business.
It was about building me.
And I’m just getting started 🤍
