Sober social events are not “extra.” They’re powerful.

Because when people in recovery laugh together, eat together, play cards, chase kids around the yard, and make normal memories without substances… something changes.

Isolation loses a little power.

Stigma takes a hit.

Families get to breathe.

And people realize recovery can be safe, fun, loud, weird, beautiful, and absolutely not boring.

That’s why we’re hosting the Grand Opening celebration this Saturday at Elmdale Church of the Nazarene in Alto.

Dinner at 5:00 PM
Speakers/Q&A around 7:00 PM

Recovery needs more than meetings. It needs places to belong.

That’s what Outreach 419 is working to build through our new partnership with Elmdale Church of the Nazarene.

Starting with this Grand Opening on Saturday, we’re creating a welcoming recovery community space where people can connect, ask questions, find support, bring their families, and be reminded they are not alone.

No pressure. No perfect people. No “you have to do recovery our way.”

Just support, education, community, and connection for all pathways.

Join us Saturday, June 6 from 3:00–8:00 PM in Alto for food, games, speakers, kids activities, euchre, and community.

Come curious. Leave connected.

We can meet people with compassion without becoming their doormat.

That matters in recovery.

People should be able to show up messy, angry, overwhelmed, scared, and unsure what to do next. That is real life. That is why recovery support exists.

But support does not mean we climb into the mud pit and live there with you.

A good recovery coach can sit with you, listen to you, care about you, and still tell you the truth:

We are not here to fuel the anger.

We are not here to cosign the chaos.

We are not here to let you dump on people because life feels hard.

We will meet you where you’re at.

Then we help you take the next step.

That is what real support looks like.

Where do you think the line is between compassion and enabling?

A huge thank you to Daniel Staggs and Jared Marshall for taking some time and hanging out on a Sunday afternoon!

This was taken on 4/19 where we celebrate Outreach 419 Day. This is our 2nd year in business and we love seeing our community come together!

Thank you both for the gift of music!
