THE JUSTICE SYSTEM MEETS THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY!

We are excited to welcome Ed Sternisha to the SoberFest MI main stage on Saturday, September 12 at 5:00 PM.

And there is a reason we wanted Ed in this conversation.

His professional experience gives him a perspective few people have.

Police officer.
Criminal defense attorney.
Former law professor.

Ed has seen what happens when substance use and the justice system collide from very different sides of the courtroom.

At SoberFest, we want to talk about what happens next.

Accountability. Recovery. Specialty courts. Second chances. And how communities can better support people who are genuinely working to change their lives.

This isn't a political rally or campaign event. It's an opportunity to bring someone with relevant experience into a room filled with people whose lives are directly affected by these systems.
