🍴 From My Kitchen to My Healing 🍴

Cooking everything fresh from scratch—I love it. But it’s wild how much it’s changed my taste buds.

You know that feeling when your body starts healing and rejecting all the junk it used to tolerate? That’s exactly what happened to me.

My body literally says no to the processed stuff I used to crave.

I juice fresh fruit now because store-bought juice tastes like chemicals. I cut out soda years ago, and I don’t miss it one bit.

Once I started fueling my body with real, living foods, everything fake became unbearable. It’s like my body finally said: “Thank you. I’ve been waiting for this.”

At Mother Hen’s Pit Stop, every dish is made with love, fresh ingredients, and a whole lot of purpose. Because healing can taste good, too. 💜

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Weatherly Inn Tacoma for having Mother Hens Pit Stop as a food vendor for the White Christmas Market. Stepping back into my old stomping grounds was such a warm and welcoming experience—just like I remember from my time working there.

A special shoutout to Monica for being an excellent coordinator and organizing such a wonderful event, and to Josh for all his help, along with his amazing children who ran their nachos bar like pros! I also want to acknowledge the incredible nurse with red hair who went above and beyond for me when I first brought in my vendor fee—you truly left a lasting impression.

Being a part of this event was an honor, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to feed everyone’s soul 1 spoonful at a time. Mother Hen’s Pit Stop completely sold out, and I deeply appreciate every single person who supported my small business. Thank you for making this such a memorable experience!
