Being able to officiate one of the final weddings at The Garden Room before they officially close their doors made last nights wedding extra special, especially after getting to marry another sweet couple right here just a couple of weeks ago. It’s truly the end of an era for such a special venue!
​When the custom handfasting cord ordered for the ceremony didn't arrive in time and with none available anywhere nearby I was determined not to let this bride down. A quick emergency run to Hobby Lobby, a handful of materials in her exact wedding colors, and a little hands-on creativity later, and they had a custom cord ready for their handfasting moment!

There is truly no backdrop quite like the iconic bluffs at Steele Creek along the Buffalo River! Last Saturday, I had the honor of serving as both officiant and photographer for this incredible couple’s vow renewal. Standing with them as they recommitted their lives to one another and capturing these moments right after is what I love doing. Wishing them a lifetime of continued love and adventure!

Wrapped up a 4-wedding week, and this last one was one to remember. I never know what I'm walking into, but even with the rain, the setup was perfect for them, the bride in a black dress, a handfasting ceremony, a black cat wandering up right on cue, and the Harvest Moon tonight 🌕

🤍 Remembering a Special Soul
My heart breaks to share this today.

Two years ago, I had the absolute joy of officiating a wedding that will forever be one of my favorite memories! This sweet couple who eloped in Basin Spring Park during the Eureka Springs Zombie Crawl. They were dressed as zombies, I was a creepy nun, and we shared a day full of pure laughter and love.

I learned today that this wonderful, kind man has passed away. He was truly such a sweet soul, and getting to play a small part in his and his wife’s love story is something I will hold close to my heart forever.

Holding his wife, family, and loved ones in my thoughts during this heavy time. Rest in peace Terry. 🙏
