The other half of our cash donations have been sent to The Bread Line Inc.! I am truly impressed with the generosity of our attendees, volunteers, & staff who made this possible.

Keep an eye out for a post about delivering our cards for seniors in the next week or so! Cas is still working on some cards at home to add to the stash! 👀

We got the final donations in for our cash donation drive from our event - we raised an IMPRESSIVE $800!! Those donations will be split between the Bread Line & Children's Miracle Network. We made our donation to CMN today on behalf of Will's Extra Life page. We are very grateful for the help & friendship Will & his team offered for our first event! Their help was invaluable!

A big thank you to everyone who brought food to our event to donate to the Bread Line Inc. ! They have been feeding people & affirming lives right here in Fairbanks since 1984 & we are proud to support their mission. Cas got the food delivered today! We'll be posting the final count on our fundraiser & where that is going in the next few days!

Wow - a HUGE thank you to Matt Mertes at Webcenter11 for the awesome coverage of our event! We appreciate the work he put in to getting our story & mission down so wonderfully, & for getting this out while our event is still in progress!

The first ever Alaska LAN, a “Bring Your Own Computer” (BYOC) local area network (LAN) party, is underway this weekend, Nov. 14–16, bringing a classic style of gaming back to the community.

It's happening right now!! We're back at it in the Wood Center ballroom today until 2am! Tickets available at the door for $40. Registration for students also available at the door FOR Free thank you to UAF Esports department! Come see what the fuss is all about, no need to register or buy a ticket just to pop in & chat. Maybe play a boardgame & sign a holiday card for a senior in the Meals on Wheels program!

wow...Pop-Con was AWESOME! If you didn't make it up to UAF Wood Center this weekend, do your best not to miss it next year! I haven't been to Pop-Con in YEARS (probably since one of the first times it was hosted!) & it was so much more than I remember. The vendors were amazing, the food options were great, & the engagement was off the charts. We met & talked to SO MANY people who are interested in bringing back the joy of LAN parties! Thank you University of Alaska Fairbanks UAF Wood Center & UAF Esports & everyone else involved for a fantastic weekend!
