Rain, rain, you can stay,
Tomorrow’s Open Play is our very last day.

We’re feeling grateful, proud, and bright,
Thinking of the memories that made this place feel right.

Birthday parties, laughter, and play,
So many sweet moments along the way.

A place for children, families too,
A little dream that slowly grew.

And though this chapter comes to an end,
A brand new one begins again.

From The Honeycomb came something new,
Sagewood Childcare is growing too.

A school, a daycare, space to grow,
For the little ones we’ve come to know.

We are so grateful we got to meet so many of you,
And will carry these memories in all that we do. 🤍

Introducing Sagewood Summer Experiences
A boutique style summer program for rising Kindergarten–2nd Grade children designed around connection, creativity, exploration, and meaningful childhood moments.

The days are intentionally simple:
A familiar rhythm.
Small groups.
Hands on experiences.
Open ended play.
Water play.
Nature exploration.
Process art.
Movement.
Cooking.
Friendship building.
And the kind of summer memories children carry with them long after August ends.

Today is a bittersweet day.
We are celebrating our very last birthday here at The Honeycomb. This space has held so much love, laughter, and joy, and being invited into your families’ most special moments is something we will carry with us forever. Thank you for letting us celebrate your children, your milestones, and your memories.
And today, we celebrate one more… a sweet little girl turning two. We truly couldn’t imagine a more perfect way to end this chapter. 💛

I want to share something with you.
The Honeycomb is closing.

Why? My dream has always been to open a school. Last year, I took that step and began building what is now Sagewood Childcare. What started as an idea has grown into something so special, and I am incredibly proud of what it has become.
At the same time, The Honeycomb opened and was designed to be an extension of that vision. A place where a learning program could come to life along with open play, classes, events, and connection for the community. And while it became a space filled with laughter, friendships, and meaningful moments, it was not able to fully grow into that vision due to the limitations of the space and licensing requirements.

As Sagewood continues to grow, it has become clear that my heart is fully invested in building and growing this dream. My focus is on The Infant Collective- offering care for infants and young toddlers up to age three, and our Schoolhouse- created for our preschoolers. We are currently enrolling for both programs, with a start date of June 1st!

Because of this, I have made the decision to close the doors at The Honeycomb so we can fully focus on the children and families of Sagewood. This is a decision made with a lot of thought, and a lot of heart.

Our final month at The Honeycomb will be May. Before we close, we will host a few pop up open play times so come say hello and goodbye, along with celebrating the birthday parties that are already scheduled.

I am so grateful for every single person who walked through our doors; it was truly a pleasure to meet you.

Thank you for being part of this. It truly meant so much.
