In our effort to continue to provide community-based CPR and AED programs to give our local citizens the life-saving skills they may need in a medical emergency, we’re pleased to announce that our next "Heartsaver CPR/AED" class will be held on Tuesday, September 16th, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the fire station.
This one-night-only course is offered to the general public at no cost and is limited to 10 people. However, our classes typically have fewer than 10, which allows our instructor to provide more personalized training and hands-on opportunities.
Community training programs like this are critical because statistics show that when a sudden cardiac event is witnessed, early interventions such as CPR and AED use can double a person’s chances of survival.
