Roasted Peach Gouda Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
4 slices whole grain bread
4 ounces Gouda cheese, sliced
1 ripe peach, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
Directions:
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of whole grain bread.
Place a slice of Gouda cheese on the unbuttered side of 2 slices of bread.
Arrange the sliced peaches on top of the Gouda cheese.
Drizzle honey and balsamic glaze over the peaches.
Place another slice of Gouda cheese on top of the peaches.
Place the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered side facing up.
Place the sandwiches in the preheated skillet or griddle and cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the skillet or griddle and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Cut the sandwiches in half and serve warm.
