Let me welcome and introduce Shay, our new Catering Sales Manager! Shay is an experienced catering manager with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry. They have a proven track record of success in managing high-volume operations and executing successful catering programs.
Most recently, Shay managed the El Tovar Restaurant at the Grand Canyon, where they oversaw all aspects of the dining experience for guests. During their tenure, they successfully increased sales while maintaining exceptional levels of customer satisfaction. Prior to El Tovar, Shay held various leadership roles in the food and beverage industry, including positions at Sodexo, Cynthia Brooks Catering, and Emily's Kitchen Farm to Table Catering. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the University of Oregon, and are excited to leverage their skills to drive growth and success in their new role as Catering Sales Manager.
