Giving sweet peas another try this year because I absolutely destroyed mine last year 🤣😅 they’re supposed to climb a trellis, have nice long stem, and a lovely scent. Let’s see how this goes 🤞🏻

A small goal for this flower season is to waste less, grow more 🌱

I am reusing materials, building healthier soil, and finding ways to make the garden a little more regenerative each year.

The flowers are the reward—but caring for the land that grows them matters just as much. 🌸

Pictured are some Sweet Pea seeds soaking overnight in an empty spice jar 🥰

Why choose locally grown flowers? 🌸

Most flowers sold in stores travel thousands of miles before reaching a vase.

Flowers grown locally are:

• Cut fresh
• Last longer
• Support small farms
• Better for the environment

There’s something special about flowers grown right here in your community.

The garden might still look sleepy outside( and buried in snow), but inside the seed trays are waking up 🌱

This week I’m starting trays of cool-season flowers that LOVE early spring weather. These tiny seedlings will become armfuls of blooms in just a couple months!

Every season starts like this — soil under the fingernails, stacks of trays, and a whole lot of patience.

Spring flowers are officially on the way 💐

It’s been a while since I’ve posted 😅 Hello my flower friends 🌷
Each year I make notes of what worked for me and what didn’t, and I try to make changes that align with my vision.

👉🏻This fall I decided to make a different plan for the 2026 season, and chose to not plant any tulips. As much as this hurt my heart, I wanted to switch things up a little bit. I might give them another go in the future, but for now they are off the roster.

I’m hoping to have some fun new items to offer this season, and be able to concentrate on a few more specific things 🧐

Stay tuned ☀️🤞🏻

Dreaming of the days I’ll be picking big bundles of snap dragons. They are my favorite cut flower. They are so fluffy, and delicate. Yet strong and also come in vibrant colors. And they look so nice all on their own. With this years’ strange weather, they are a little bit behind schedule, but let’s keep our fingers crossed they will be ready early July 🤞🏻
