Apparently fantasy, magic, masquerades, and book-inspired worlds are “unrealistic” for a small town Alabama event scene… and yet here we are. ✨

At Fiction Addiction Events, we create immersive events inspired by the books and genres we love most from fantasy realms and dark romance aesthetics to themed dinners, book fairs, and elegant balls where readers can step into the story for a night.

And honestly? Watching this community show up in gowns, masks, corsets, crowns, elf ears, and full main-character energy has been one of the most magical things we’ve ever built. 🖤

What an AMAZING day today!! Thank you so unbelievably much to everyone who showed up to support today! It means so much to me to support these local authors and local businesses!

The author panel was fantastic! Thank you Bibliophiles Audiophiles we loved having you!

The cosplay contest was amazing! Congratulations to our winners!

The dramatized reading was phenomenal! I felt like I was listening to an audiobook!! Thank you to the readers you made it wonderful!

And thank you to the authors and vendors who showed up. Thank you for your patience and everything today! Without you this wouldn’t have happened!!
