My name is Emily Marcellino and I have been working most recently in the beauty industry for seven years in the Baltimore/ Washington area. My makeup artistry story started differently than a "classically trained" makeup artist. From 2006-2010 I attended Hofstra University for Art History and Fine Arts. I had no idea then the groundwork I was laying for a more serious interest in makeup. I love to

draw inspiration and technique from painting as well as makeup trends from days past. I was fortunate to have worked for MAC Cosmetics for four years where my skills were developed. Prior to my departure I was a part of the management team at my location as well as a part of our regional Impact Team and was sent to events from Georgetown to Orlando Florida. I worked with the Artist Training and Development team and have a passion for sharing my knowledge. Since my days at MAC I have been working in the DMV area as a freelance artist for weddings, events, and creative shoots. I love the flexibility of makeup and its transformative power.

After decades of love, laughter, and life together, getting to be part of her wedding day was such an honor. Timeless, radiant, and so full of joy — just like her. 🤍

What a beautiful day for a bride who is gorgeous inside and out, it was such an honor to be involved. I will wait to post more details… but the suspense is killing me!
I cannot wait to share “official” portraits so iPhone will have to do until then!

Excited to be working again with in just a few days.
This is a big weekend for all rodeo queens in Montana! The Montana Legacy Project offers an all day photoshoot for women and girls of all ages that hold current titles and future title holders. This program is so incredible, I can’t rave enough about it. All the young women are able to access professional photography, hair and makeup services, and a full rodeo wardrobe! The amount of (wo)man power it takes to put on this all day photoshoot and the subsequent weekend clinic is a feat!
I’m proud to be a part of this weekend and proud to be the official turquoise sponsor for MLP. Keep an eye for sneak peeks and a bombardment of photos in the next few weeks!

I have had quite the busy week helping the beautiful rodeo queens this last week… all of my businesses for the last 25 years have started to really come together.

For my brides and makeup clients that don’t know, I’ve also owned and operated western boutiques since 2012. This year has opened some beautiful opportunities in working with the Montana Legacy Project to source western wear, turquoise jewelry (my passion), and provide makeup services.

It’s funny how for years my businesses have chugged along side by side and now they are working in unison!

This is shaping up to be an interesting year, that’s for sure!
