It's Casino Night at the winery and we have "Game Night" in the Cork Room. Pan seared duck breast over mushroom-herb risotto and sauteed asparagus with blueberry-cabrrnet reduction. Ground bison burger with beer battered gator tail and onion, sauteed mushrooms and smoked gouda over cream cheese mash. As I sit in this room of warm ambiance with a vibrant back splash, enjoying a Full Flight and Ahi Tuna, and have yet to get to the main course, Zach provided a perfect reflection of Ahi and the bartender Timothy Isles has a personal effect that reflects a culture of professionalism, knowledge and Mr. Sid the MOD is the kindest of hearts with warmest regards. The Vineyard as a whole is eloquent and viciously underated of accolades. This is likely to become a spot of Trust and Annual visit on occasion as the professionalism is unmatched... To Many years of Growth and Success!

My husband and I recently stayed at Cape Fear Winery for our Anniversary. As always it was a special time at a special place. The cottages are decorated so nicely and you can sit on the porch on your rocking chair and watch the soothing lake and relax.
The Cork Room food is great especially the grilled Caesar salad and the salmon. It's decorated with original art and celebrity memorabilia.
A nice addition is the distillery where they make their own gin, rum and bourbon. It was fun to see the process and taste the end result. The gin was smooth and had floral notes of lavender.
All in all a very nice time will be back.
