This was such an incredible wedding at the stunning Ashton Hill Farm in Galena this past weekend. Annie and Bob have been together for over ten years and were high school sweet hearts. The entire room was filled with so much love and celebration for the two of them. Their friends and family knew how to celebrate and couldn't have been more happy for them! They are one of the kindest couples I have had the pleasure of working with, they are always looking out for others and have dedicated their careers to helping children as school counselors. They have travelled the world together and now embark on their best journey yet! Congratulations Annie + Bob!

Shylo + Adam said I DO Oak Hill Farm in Apple River this past weekend in a small, intimate gathering with close friends and family. It was stunning from start to finish.

This couple is so incredibly kind and sweet, they had the most beautiful vows to each other and danced the night away! Shylo took Adam's breath away as she walked down the aisle. I loved seeing Shylo's first dance with her brother and how close they are. Adam's first dance with his mom, Monica, was so sweet and made everyone teary! The bride's mom, Lori, was incredible all throughout the day and did all of the flowers and decorating. She absolutely blew me away with her attention to all the beautiful details.

The night ended with a gorgeous sparkler exit with all of Shylo and Adam's close friends and family cheering them on!

Congratulations to an amazing couple, Shylo + Adam!

Shannon + Kyle got their engagement session in just in time before a storm rolled in! We even met a sweet Galena local who blew bubbles in the street and others who cheered them on as they danced and dipped in the street! An absolutely stunning, colorful wedding this past weekend! Kristina looked absolutely gorgeous and the way Patrick melted when he saw her during their first look was such a sweet moment. They were surrounded by an incredible wedding party, proud family and friends and no detail was left untouched. From fun party favors for all the kids to the bridal party's parisols, there were so many beautiful details throughout their day.

So happy for these two and their sweet little family as they embark on married life! Congratulations Kristina + Patrick!

These two got married on Mother's Day at Chestnut Mountain Resort. Their mamas were so kind to agree to a wedding on Mother's Day and both agreed there was no better Mother's day gift than seeing their kids happy on their wedding day.

The bride and groom opted for a "first touch" rather than a first look, that was so sweet and such a beautiful moment for them to talk to each other before the ceremony, just the two of them around either side of a beautiful tree overlooking the slopes of Chestnut and the Mississippi River. They kept the wedding reception simple and elegant with white decor, a memory table dedicated to their loved ones, and white sunglasses for the dance floor that their friends and loved ones had no problem keeping busy! Ashlyn and her dad had one of the most epic Father/Daughter dances I have seen! They had the whole reception on their feet!

I am so thankful I got to be part of such a beautiful wedding and wish them a beautiful future together! Congratulations Ashlyn + Creighton!

Amanda + Eddie eloped at the gorgeous Hawk Valley Retreat & Cottages, A Nature Lovers Bed & Breakfast. They married under the very tree that Eddie told Amanda he was going to marry her under 5 years ago! Just being around them you can tell how in love they are, how much they have endured together as a couple and how deep and strong their connection and commitment is to each other. I was so honored to be part of their incredible day!

My name is Mollie and I am the creator of Wheat & Willow Photography. I am a mama of 4 beautiful, rowdy, piratish kids and almost wifey to a gorgeous, bearded tree-climber named Seth who is superdad when I am doing what I love: creating beautiful photographs for the modern human.
