It is with profound disappointment that we announce the cancellation of BoricuaFest due to the forecast of severe and inclement weather.
This was an incredibly difficult decision. For the past seven months, an amazing team of dedicated volunteers has poured countless hours of hard work, passion, and love into bringing BoricuaFest back after a 15-year hiatus. We know how much this event meant to our community, and we share in your sadness.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every volunteer, vendor, sponsor, community partner, and entertainment act who believed in this vision and committed their time, talent, and resources to making BoricuaFest a reality. Your support has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we are deeply grateful.
While this morning’s news is heartbreaking, our commitment to celebrating and preserving Puerto Rican culture remains stronger than ever. This is not the end of BoricuaFest; it is simply a pause.
Please stay tuned as we begin planning an even bigger and better BoricuaFest next year. We look forward to the day we can come together to celebrate our heritage, our culture, and our incredible community - quite possibly sooner than you think!
