MAXIMUS WALLACE ENJOYS DOUBLE CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON; EYES MOVE TO GREEN PLATE IN 2026
FULTON, NY (January 23, 2026) – In just his third season of kart racing, Maximus Wallace enjoyed a banner year in 2025, as the driver of the No. 88 claimed track championships at both Can-Am Speedway and Weedsport Kartway in the Jr. Red Clone division.
With nearly 30 starts this season, Wallace consistently traveled across New York state from his home in Elba, NY to make weekly visits to central and northern New York, while also calling Ransomville Speedway home, locally.
On the road, Wallace was near flawless, particularly at Can-Am Speedway. Riding his Slack Elevate chassis, Wallace dominated the north country oval, winning nine of ten features on the season, claiming the track title by 76-points.
Perhaps more impressive was Wallace’s comeback effort at Weedsport Kartway in one of the most competitive Red plate fields in the state. With an average of 10 karts in action at each event, Weedsport saw six different drivers score wins in 2025, with Wallace earning his first Weedsport win at the most pivotal time.
Wallace took victory on day one of Octoberfest Weekend and backed it up with a runner-up finish on day two to close the 7-race Weedsport schedule as a track champion. The Wallace Racing team showed their resilience during Octoberfest, as they overcame a points deficit to claim the title by 13 markers.
At his home track of Ransomville Speedway, Wallace began his pursuit of this coming season by getting his feet wet in the ultra-competitive Jr. Green Clone division. Despite competing against more experienced drivers, Wallace held his own and then some by collecting nine Top 5 finishes in eleven starts, with a fifth-place finish in points out of a field of 13 karts.
In total, Wallace made 28 starts between Ransomville, Can-Am and Weedsport in 2025, collecting an impressive 10 feature wins and an astounding 25 Top 5 finishes.
For 2026, Wallace will aim for more of the same as he makes his move to Jr. Green Clone full-time.
