Thank you for the tribute ❤️ They will certainly be missed by many. 😢
Heaven has gained one more angel. It’s hard to write these things but 2 of our favorites deserve a loving send off / tribute.

If you recall, we thought we lost our 2 favorite cats a couple of weeks ago. At that time we did lose Frisky but Oreo made it through. We were elated he was alright. We got a little more time with him & it was great. But there was an attack & Oreo didn’t make it through his injuries. It’s a little uplifting to know the brothers are together again like they always were. We send love to all who loved Oreo & Frisky & are feeling the loss. We send an extra hug to our friend Sylvie who Oreo was close to, and her to him. The days & times those cats had were filled with a lot of love, fun, & happiness. They had their own style...Some days they were our tour guides for us around the grounds...Sometimes they’d barely lift their heads out of bed...Sometimes they had only a moment for our nonsense & speed walked off to investigate something down yonder!

It’s tough but we know that we played our small parts well, giving those cats plenty of attention each weekly visit. It meant a lot to us to escape the real world for a moment. We have a good time with little things like seeing the cats & strolling the garden. The memories will carry on. Keep it cozy up there boys. Signed by your pals, Bill & Jesse.

They came to live at IGC in December of 2016. A bonded pair of brothers that brought joy to the nursery. This has been a difficult month, losing them two weeks apart. Both victims of coyote attacks on the nursery property. We’ve never had issues with predators on the property, until now. Please let this be a lesson to El Segundo residents. Don’t leave out food. Watch your pets. Know that coyotes have no natural predators in the city so they are multiplying unchecked.
We will miss them terribly. They were loved by so many people, employees and customers alike. We love you Oreo and Frisky ❤️😔

Attention monarch enthusiasts! For a limited time, we will not impose limits on the sale of milkweed plants. We have been limiting amounts due to availability and demand(so that everyone had a chance to get some milkweed), however, we will be receiving an abundance of milkweed plants and will allow customers to purchase them without limits for now. We may need to put limits on again on the future but for now, come and get ‘em!!

On a personal note, our son, Logan, had his third open heart surgery at CHLA when he was 2 years old. He's now a wonderful 15-year-old with big plans for his future. This would not be possible without the exceptional care of Children's Hospital Los Angeles and for all the groups like the El Segundo Auxiliary Children's Hospital LA supporting the hospital to make that exceptional care possible.
