Florist tip of the day 🌻

One of the most important techniques I use when building hand-tied bouquets is the spiral method. Each stem is placed at the same angle, creating a bouquet that is balanced, comfortable to hold, and has a beautiful shape from every angle.

A fun test? If the spiral is done correctly, the bouquet should be able to stand upright on its stems without any support. ✨

It’s one of those behind-the-scenes mechanics that most people never notice, but it makes a huge difference in the final product.

✨ A little business milestone worth celebrating ✨

Today, Gather & Bloom by Katie officially became an LLC.

What started as a love for flowers, creating beautiful moments, and serving my community has grown into something I am incredibly proud of. There have been long days, late nights, lots of learning, and plenty of moments where I wondered if I was doing everything right—but each bouquet, event, rental, and customer has helped bring me to this moment.

Becoming an LLC may just be paperwork to some, but to me, it represents growth, commitment, and a dream that continues to become more real every day.

Thank you to everyone who has supported my small business—whether you've placed an order, booked an event, shared a post, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on. I truly couldn't do this without you.
