Trigger Warning: Vulnerable Post 🛑

Yesterday was a monumental day for me and my team. We booked our 50th wedding for 2025.
Some will look at that number and laugh, gloat over their own successes or just carry on. But they don’t know what goes on behind social media. They don’t see the client calls between dance practices, with the chaos in the background. They don’t see the late nights working on timelines because I had bed time duties for my girls… or the mornings I drive to work and contemplate is this what I want for my life.

In less than a month, my babies go back to school. We took our annual girls trip, disconnected and made memories. It allowed me to take a little time to slow down before the whirlwind of our busy season begins — to rest, breathe, and be present. This job is so much about love, and I’ve learned that showing up fully for our couples means making space to refill my own cup too!

The day that Lainey threw the biggest party of her life… or the day her parent’s got married, however you want to look at it.

When we tell you this wedding was a Pinterest wedding, I am telling you… . Kasadey had a vision and we went to work to bring it to life. We faced curveballs- venue closures, rain, and flights across the country, but God was in our corner.

From the moment we met Kasadey, we had an instant connection, even with her being in Colorado until just before the wedding!

I could continue to ramble about this wedding, and the love we have for the Korthals (and the love they have for each other) but I’m just going to stop and let you admire the beauty that was this day.

September 2025 will be a record month for ZWC. We will be blessed to be a part of nearly 20 weddings, 3 of which are full planning couples! In honor of our September sweethearts we thought we would release a PSA.

If you have not sent out your wedding invitations, now is the time!

We love the 30/30/30 rule!

Send out invites, giving your guests 30 days to RSVP!
RSVP deadline is 30 days before the wedding date!
This will give you 30 days to communicate with vendors and hunt down those who can’t seem to follow rules! ( )

To know Sarina, is to know pure joy. Her kindness and heart can be felt through a phone call. And when I tell you, her wedding was about her and her three favorite people… that is all that it was about.
There was still the beautiful ceremony, the one at the most beautiful church. There was still the florals, the gorgeous bridesmaid dresses and the party of a lifetime. But through all of that, if you looked at Sarina, she was looking only at Mark with a smile that never once left her face.

On a beautiful barn venue, tucked away in the most serene location. Two of our very dear friends said “I do”.
We were blessed not only to be present, but to work to bring their vision to life.
From the fresh flowers, the dessert made by the grooms mom to the charcuterie board. Behind the scenes, countless labors of love ensured every detail fell into place perfectly.
