How long do balloons last? That's a fundamental question of this art, and the answer is, "it depends."

If we create a basic twisted poodle and give it to someone who consistently swings it around by the little puff in its tail...it's not likely to last long. If we make a flower for your sweet child who then pummels other kids with it as if it were a club (true scenario, by the way)...it's not gonna last long.

For balloon decor, what affects balloons are wind (or the movement of air from an HVAC system indoors), heat, sun, rain, and people touching them. We put up this balloon wall on January 5. We've had pretty optimal weather conditions for balloons since then: a little bit of wind the first day or two, but none since then; cool temperatures, just a little bit of rain, and no one touching the balloons except us (and that was just to straighten the wall when it got a little twisted from the wind).

After twelve days outside, the balloons are showing their age....but don't look bad enough (in our opinion) to take the decoration down *just yet.*

So far the only orange (as in, the fruit) balloons we've found have eyes and a smile on the orange, and an orange fruit label balloon. But we could make this arch (in any size!) with GO DUCKS up at the top where the rose is, or large foil football balloons, and/or Oregon foil balloons.
