WEATHER & TICKET UPDATE: As we’re sure you know by now, New England will start to show off its famous weather starting later Sunday evening into Monday morning. As RI VegFest ends at 5pm and weather isn’t expected to arrive until 7pm or later, the event will continue as planned. Here are some updates and things you should know:

🍅 For 2:30pm ticket holders, we’ve decided to open doors for you a little early starting at 2pm.
🍅 There are still 2:30pm tickets available at rivegfest.com, but all other entry times are sold out.
🍅 The venue has plenty of free off-street private parking and they are committed to keeping walkways clear and salted.
🍅 Remember, you’re welcome to arrive at any time after your purchased entry time! For those with VIP tickets, your VIP Swag Bags will be waiting for you whenever you arrive.
🍅 Our vendors will be restocked and ready to see you!

Winter here is rarely without its challenges, but the event ends at 5pm, and it’s a great place to stock up on tasty food for the storm. We’re New Englanders, so we’ve got this. We had such a blast today and we, and all of our vendors, sincerely can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

A HUGE congrats to our best bud and Event Manager, Brent and his band .pvd on releasing their new record today! We’ll be headed to their matinee release party .rhodeisland at 2pm. The album is incredible and if you haven’t seen them live before, today is your lucky day! See you THERE.

We’re excited to share that Little City Thrifty has received the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management’s Green Certification for Green Events!⁠ Since day one, it’s been important to us to celebrate reuse and keeping items out of the landfill - which is why we throw this big party in the first place.

Making LCT less trashy takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work, and it wouldn’t be possible without our incredible compost team at Epic Renewal (who help keep compost from being contaminated all weekend long), our restaurant partners Diego’s East Side and JA Patty, and our friends at New Harvest Coffee and the Inside Voices bar, who serve food and drinks in compostable ware throughout the event. Huge thanks as well to our BFF Todd at World Centric for helping supply the bar with compostable products.

And last but not least, thank YOU, for taking the extra moment to put compostables in the green bins and helping make it all work.

We finished breaking down The Good Trade here in Providence, had drinks with our team, took a looooong nap, and repacked the van for BTV. Today, we’re looking through some of the photos from this past weekend and reliving many of the special conversations we had.

With 2025’s unprecedented increases in costs across the board, all of us are relying on each other to get by - personally just as much as financially. So, when so many of your beautiful, smiling faces show up ready to lift spirits, lend support, and shop small, it’s impossible to convey just how important you are to us and our big family of makers.

Thank you for being you, Providence. And we’ll see you next weekend, Burlington!

SATURDAY: 11am entry tickets for today (Saturday) are now completely SOLD OUT. Tickets will be available at the door starting at 2pm.

SUNDAY: Both 11am (running low!) and 2pm tickets are still available for Sunday, but that could change. Stay tuned for more updates!

It's hard to believe that this will be The Good Trade's 5th annual holiday makers market in Providence. Thanks for five years of shopping small with us. We hope you'll come down to WaterFire Arts Center on November 22nd and 23rd to celebrate with us and nearly 100 makers from RI and all over the country!

Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door (if they don’t sell out!). As always, with entry you’ll receive a complimentary drink ticket to redeem for your choice of a small 5oz cocktail from Inside Voices and ISCO Spirits, Narragansett Beer, small hot New Harvest Coffee, a bottle of Topo Chico Sparkling Mineral Water , or an ice cream from Gather Farm. From the bottom of our flamingo-shaped hearts, thank you for hanging with us at Little City Thrifty this fall. You're amazing, and there's nothing better than supporting small businesses while giving old things a new life with you.

Speaking of, our friends at Epic Renewal just shared the event composting stats with us, and together, we diverted 537 pounds of waste from the landfill! That's the equivalent of greenhouse gas or CO2 emissions from: driving a gas powered vehicle 444 miles, 19.6 gallons of gas being consumed, or fully charging 14,082 smartphones. We're proud to host fully compostable events and we appreciate your support in keeping things a little less trashy. We'll see you again on March 6 & 7 - vendor applications are open now, and tickets will go on sale soon!
