Thank you Corky & Bruce for letting me be a part of your special day. Let this serve as a reminder that you can get married and celebrate love with your family and friends at any age. These two fell in love in high school, drifted apart due to life circumstances, only to reconnect many years later and decide to get married and do it proper at 79 and 80 years old.

I brought the last of my fall goodies to for their Haunted History Tours happening this Friday & Saturday. Just 40 minutes from Peoria, this place is definitely worth the trip.

They just turned their pole barn into a beautiful event venue that's worth checking out. In this space, you'll find live music, food, beverages, and more for before and after your tour. This is an event where actors are staged throughout the home and add a spooky touch to an interesting tour of this historical building. Nothing too scary but just eery enough! Give them a follow to find out more info on the event.

I brought corn swags, pampas bunches, gourds, and fresh bouquets. All are on sale as this is my last pop-up (I think) until the Thanksgiving Riverfront Market on Saturday Nov 22.

Weeks 2 and 3 of the Dahlia CSA. I know flower farming seems fun, but not when it's 90 degrees in October after the second driest September on record. I had to order in a lot of dahlias from to finish out the CSA bouquets this week and last since mine are producing far less than they should.

But good news, I've decided to grow dahlias at my grandma's next year to ensure a good crop. I can irrigate there! Yay water!💧

I'll be taking sign ups for 2026 Summer & Dahlia CSA very soon. Stay tuned...

And for those coming to U-PICK on Saturday, there should be some dahlias available but come at 10 a.m. for best flower pickin' selection.

And as always, pray for rain. I'll take sprinkles, droplets, moisture, anything.
