The photos you’ve all been waiting for 🔥🫦

I LOVE Ashley and Brian for braving the freezing cold water and getting some of the steamiest photos I’ve taken to date! 😮‍💨

Besides having the best time with them, they are the kindest people I’ve ever met. We had the most amazing day from beginning to end! I’m so honored to get to capture moments like these for all my couples!!

I could not choose a favorite photo!!🤩 what’s yours?!

“What do we do if it’s going to rain?”

One of the biggest questions I get on my client calls!

On Zo and Hector’s day we actually ended up making a last minute decision and meeting a few hours than we originally planned because it was raining all morning! We wanted to catch a break in the rain and it worked out perfectly. As soon as we got back to the cars it started raining again, just in time!

Just add this to the many reasons why I love elopements. The flexibility to be able to change things so last minute and go with the flow is one of the best parts!

So to answer the question, I’ll do my best and work with my flexibility to move things around as needed to avoid rain!

However…if anyone wants to play and dance in the rain on their elopement I will happily join in and capture that too!

Yes, I have all the unhealthy attachments to Desi that most dog owners have!

Grieving her death while she’s perfectly healthy…

Talking to her like a human…because I swear she can understand what I’m saying.

Driving 18 hours across the country for a quick family visit just so I don’t have to leave her behind…

Tearing up at the look on her face when I leave her to go to the grocery store 🥺

What can I say! She’s stuck with me.

Bring a cake to your elopement - there’s no rules! 🎂

I personally am a huge fan when you bring a cake to your elopement (because there’s usually enough for me to also have a little taste test 😉🤤)!!

Plus if you bring cake it gives us a chance to slow down, have a little picnic, and refuel in the middle of a potentially long day! A sugar rush is much needed at this point and can help send us off on a big hike!

So really there’s no cons to having a cake 🍰🎂🧁

What an incredibly special elopement! ❄️ 🍁

I know Colorado weather is always unpredictable, but I drove through this pass the night before and there was absolute no snow. I ended up parking in my van for the night nearby and sat through a crazy lightning storm and woke up the next morning to all the mountains getting the first fresh layer of snow for the season!

We planned a sunrise elopement which is so lucky because the snow only lasted a few hours before it completely melted by that afternoon. So seeing the alpine glow and the mountain peaks covered for the first time while the fall foliage was still peeking out was soooo beautiful! The snow lasted just long enough for us to get to experience it.

But just a reminder to all my couples I’m shooting with over the next month, dress warm and be prepared for anything! 🥶

Wrapping up wildflower elopement season and entering fall elopements 🌼

This summer flew by to say the least and I’ve had a really hard time keeping up with sharing all the incredible couples I’ve gotten to hang out with over the last few months.

So here’s to Ellie and Connor for truly winging their whole elopement experience!

Spending the weekend with my favorite people 🥲

I met Cassidy and Colten when I lived in Vegas and our friendship has gotten even stronger since I moved back to Colorado! We take advantage of seeing each other any chance we get and now they have little Nora tagging along too!

They’re finally moving out of Vegas across the country to Virginia! 🚎 I’m so glad they stopped to see me along the way! We’ve now been on so many camping trips together and I know it won’t be our last!

Time for Jenna and Justin’s elopement photos!

The post before this one I shared a more casual session of these two that we did 2 days before their elopement! I LOVE spending this much time with my couples to capture their relationship in such a diverse way. Once we got to their elopement day we were already so familiar with each other and made their day even more at ease.

We had a beautiful little ceremony among the aspens with their family and a lot of frolicking in the hills right after! Such a perfect day 🍃

🌼 Still hanging on to spring as long as I can!

I’ve spent most of my summer in Crested Butte and it has been the most magical summer. Watching the snow melting from the mountain peaks, watching the grass getting greener and more lush, the wildflowers slowly waking up for the summer and turning the green rolling hills into multi colored valleys.

And now we’re already transitioning into fall! The hills are no longer green but full of wheat grass, the first signs of the aspens turning yellow, and the rivers water level is slowing draining.

But everything is still SO beautiful in just a different way.

The seasons here change quickly and it’s been so fun to be a spectator through it all. Fall is coming!

Hiii it’s me 👧🏼 and Desi 🐶

It’s been a long time since I’ve shared anything deeply personal with you guys, and I feel like it’s time to start showing up in a more real way again.

I’ve been showing up on social media for almost 10 years now—which is WILD to think about. In the early days, I was hustling non-stop in my business, working literally around the clock, and sharing my life like an open book. But if I’m honest, I mostly showed the good stuff.

The truth is, over the past 6 years, I’ve walked through several intense and deeply personal experiences—things I’ve kept close to my heart and only shared with my closest friends and family. I stayed quiet about the hard stuff because, at my core, I want to be a source of light and positivity in this world. And for a long time, I thought that meant only sharing the highlight reel.

But I know that real connection happens when we share the whole story—not just the shiny parts.

I’m not here to trauma dump or unload every detail, but I do want to start showing up as a whole, imperfect human—someone you can actually relate to, not just a polished highlight reel. My hope is that by sharing more of the real and raw moments alongside the joyful ones, we can connect in a deeper, more authentic way.

Over the years, I’ve learned that the moments we label as sad, intense, or “negative” can actually hold a deep kind of beauty. As hard and heartbreaking as they can be, I’ve worked hard to cherish those seasons just as much as the good ones—because they’ve shaped me, stretched me, and reminded me of what truly matters.

𝗦𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗜 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀.

I grabbed a blanket, sat in the grass, put on my headphones, Desi laid by my side, and I just cried. I was allowing myself to feel so much heartbreak that I’ve been hanging on to. But at the same time as I’m sitting in this moment on top of the mountains, watching the sunset, the breeze softly touching the grass around me, it was a heart opening moment where I felt so much peace and gratitude for the life I get to live.

So here’s to showing up for you guys a little more real 🫶🏼🥲
