“Let’s go have a good time.” And we absolutely did. 🔥
Isaac & Colleen gave me one of the most interesting challenges of my wedding season: 3 HOURS of open dance with NO rap and NO line dances outside of the Macarena.
No deep rap records. No club-heavy pivots. No Cupid Shuffle or Cha-Cha Slide to reset the room.
So I spent the week preparing their music and building different routes I could take throughout the night. Wedding classics. Pop. 2000s & 2010s. Singalongs. Anthems. A little pop-punk. Whatever the room gave me, I had somewhere to go next.
And they PARTIED. 🔥
About two hours in, Isaac came up to me and basically said, “Forget the do-not-play list. Play what you want.”
That meant something to me. Because at that point, I knew I had earned his trust.
Say less. 😂
That final hour, we opened it up a little. Nelly. 50 Cent. Some records I had intentionally stayed away from all night — and the floor kept going.
Eventually even the timeline got tossed. 😂 The dance floor wasn’t ready to stop, the couple wasn’t ready to stop, and neither was I. We kept going until the venue hit us with the hard stop.
We literally shut the venue down.
Then after three hours of partying, everybody cleared the room and Isaac & Colleen finally got one quiet moment together for their private last dance before a beautiful send-off. ❤️
THAT is why having the right vendor team matters.
Huge love to FaterFairytaleWeddings and Ian. We communicated, adjusted in real time, protected the couple’s experience, and when the room told us the original plan needed to change — we changed it.
Congratulations, Isaac & Colleen. 🥂
