Today is National Celiac Awareness day.

Something close to my heart as I live a strict gluten free lifestyle as one living with this auto immune disease.

Something I am striving for with any event I create is to make sure everyone has something safe they can eat. As food is a remarkable susbstance that our bodies need to thrive.

WIth that being said, I will always be open to talking to food trucks or vendors who offer different food options like vegan, gluten free, dairy free, etc. I always want to be able to offer variety, and allow the whole community to enjoy.

Who is your favorite allergen friendly food truck?

Had a blast at this years Wisconsin Highland Games. Still got a bit sunburnt 😅

It was great seeing family and friends again coming together to celebrate the 7 celtic nations and celtic heritage.

We will be starting planning for next years Battle of the Clans, a gathering.

Comment below your favorite festival activity! We want to know!

Can't wait to throw knives and axes again with SMAX at the Wi Highland games this weekend in Waukesha.

We gave you a small taste of the fun cultural adventure. 😉

If you see me, come say hi! We start planning next week for the 2027 Gathering of the Clans :-)

A week after the event and I have been gathering so much great feedback and am working on planning an even better event for next year including more living history and interactive informative items.

What is something you'd love to see?

What an amazing event, the 2nd year officially closer. We had such a blast with the handfasting, music, vendors, clans, knife and axe throw, archery and heavy athletics.

We hope everyone had fun! For now. I am going to bed. 😘
