Going out with couples and taking their engagements is seriously the best thing. Not only is it such a fun time of life to be a part of, but it’s a great opportunity for the photographer to get to know the couple and the couple to know their photographer before the wedding.

Also, it amazes me how couples can grow so much from their engagement to the day of their wedding. As a photographer, you get to know couples fairly well and seeing the transformation take place is a fantastic perk.

Apparently they can also be dangerous as somehow my wife’s veil got caught in my armpit on our wedding day and almost ruined her hair, not to mention the whiplash that could have ensued 🤦🏻‍♂️ Luckily a quick thinking uncle .go.boom averted that crisis.
