The HU citrus sale pickup has been changed to Wednesday, Dec. 11th due to shipping changes with the Florida Farm Bureau. Pick up will take place in the auditorium lobby from 3:30-8:30 that evening.

We have done this for decades and it’s a great way to bring delicious fruit and nuts to our communities while supporting music scholarships for all of our music students. Please consider purchasing Fresh Navel Oranges, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Butter Toffee Peanuts, and Honey Krunch Peanuts from your favorite Harwood musician this season. Check out the 3rd Annual Regional Battle of the Bands hosted by Harwood Music tomorrow night at 7PM in the HUHS auditorium. We have 15 acts performing from all over the state! Doors open at 6:30. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students.

Although Im retired , the memories of all the times that I ,and my music educator colleagues had thier jobs up for the chopping block are etched in my soul , trauma really. What ALWAYS made the difference was the community who spoke up in support of music education. Always.So for the community members who believe in the importance of much education , the need for you to speak up NOW has never been greater -30 percent of VT school budget votes have failed, and there will be more for those districts that have delayed votes. Here is one resource at least to get started in the advocacy that is desperately needed right now.
