EsoTerra's 3rd Annual Pie Baking Contest is THIS Saturday!!!

Prizes
1st Ribbon, $50
2nd Ribbon, $25
3rd Ribbon and $10

Categories – Any dessert pie, from blueberry and Rhubarb to Pecan and Buckeye, to the classic apple!
From single crust to double crust, all are welcome!

Homemade Pie Contest Rules
a) This contest is open to bakers of all ages! Youth Division 0-16, Adult is 17+
b) Pies must be entered in the name of the person who made it.
c) Contestant may enter up to three pies.
d) Each Pie must be made from scratch and based in a 9” – 10” pie plate/pan. You may not
use pre-made store-bought crust.

Enter a Pie
Bring your Pie to the contest site, at EsoTerra Ciderworks; 558 Main Ave, Durango CO before 11am on July 5th, 2023. At this time your pie will be given an entry number.

YOU be the Judge!!!
At 1pm, the community will enjoy plates FULL of pie bites and decide who rocked the best pie!!!

Who is ready for this weeks Sip & Song Saturday (270 CR 303, Durango, CO 81303)?

This week: Pete Giuliani!

Pete’s music is founded on his study of classical guitar and his love of Rock, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, and World Music. His early influences include Bach and The Beatles, but his exposure to progressive rock bands such as Yes, Genesis, and ELP ignited his passion for the guitar. Fusion artists such as Al DiMeola, Jean-Luc, Ponty, and John McLaughlin’s Mahavishnu Orchestra provided further early inspiration. At the same time, the great classic rock artists of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s provided a musical backdrop which strongly influences his playing to this day.
