This structured clinic focuses on elements, not full programs — and includes support with registration, coach guidance on competition day, and info on upcoming events like the Merrimack Valley (Newburyport, MA) comp on Nov. 22.

Great Bay Figure Skating Club registrations for Fall Skating Lessons are now open! Lessons on Saturday and a Wednesday session also!

GBFSC's home arena is the Dover Ice Arena, located at 110 Portland Avenue Dover, New Hampshire.

Come join us every Wednesday night from 8-8:50pm for Adult Intro Skills and Drills through August 13th. This program is designed for adult beginner men and women and costs $10 weekly. This is a DROP IN program; no need to sign up in advance. This is a COED program focused on basic skating skills and drills related to hockey. Full hockey equipment is required.

Get'em on the ice! August Parent/Tot Stick and Puck from 12-1:20pm on Sundays, August 3d, 10th, and 17th. NO Parent/Tot on August 24th or August 31st. This skate is for children ages 10 and under (as of 9/2024) and their parents. This is a fun recreational hockey skate for parents and their children, it is not for a team practice or a game session. FULL EQUIPMENT for children and parents must wear helmets. While not an official USA Hockey event, neck guards are recommended for children under 18.

Never can skate too much! August Youth Stick and Puck on Sundays, August 3d, 10th, and 17th from 10-11:50am. No Youth Stick on August 24th or August 31st. Youth stick practice is for children in grade 8 and below as of 9/2024. Full Equipment Required. While not required as a non-USA Hockey event, neck guards are recommended for participation. No parents allowed on ice. NO HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS DURING THIS SESSION! Goalies skate free!

August 2025 Public Skate Schedule. Monday through Friday (weekdays) Recreation Skate, from 1:30-2:50pm. NO Skate on Friday, August 29th. Sunday Public Skate from 2:30-3:50pm; NO Sunday Public Skate on August 24th or August 31st. No reservations required; Limited number of skates available for rental.

August 2025 Instructional Skate Schedule. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10-11:20am. Additional Instructional Skates on Tuesday, August 19th and Tuesday, August 26th from 10-11:20am. NO Skate on August 29th or August 31st. Drop Ins welcome. Only for training sessions with coaches; practice your figure skating or hockey skating skills during these sessions. No sticks or pucks allowed!

August 2025 Adult Stick and Puck schedule. Monday through Friday, 11:30-12:50pm. NO Stick and Puck on Friday, August 29th. Walk Ins OK for Adult Stick and Puck. This program is for Adults 18 and over. Limited to 20 skaters and 2 goalies. Still only $10. Save some $ and get a Stick Pass ($50 for 7 skates). Sign ups ONLY on the day of the skate; your Stick Pass bonus is you can call in to reserve your spot for that day's skate!
