Memorial Day is more than a long weekend or the unofficial start of summer—it is a time to reflect on the courage, selflessness, and dedication of those who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy every day.
We are deeply grateful to the fallen heroes and to the families who carry their memory forward. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Every year we get SO excited to put flowers out… and every year Mother Nature reminds us why we wait. 😅❄️🌷
As heartbreaking as it is to hold off on all the pretty blooms, this screenshot is exactly why we don’t rush it around here in Upstate NY. One minute it’s sunshine and spring dreams… the next it’s frost warnings and snowflakes.
Our flower babies will make their debut soon enough — when they have a fighting chance out there. 😂🌼

There’s just something magical about prom day!

We absolutely LOVE seeing all the local prom-goers dressed to the nines—every detail, every smile, every proud moment. It’s such a joy to be a small part of these memories. 💛

This Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, we’re opening up the outdoor grounds at Rustic Ties for prom photos from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM 📸

From the open fields to the pond and all those picture-perfect spots in between—you’re welcome to explore and capture it all!

Please note: the inside of the barn will not be open to the public, as we’ll be setting up for another school’s event.

Come take advantage of the beautiful outdoor spaces, gather your friends, and soak in the moment before the big night begins.
