I'm the heart behind Carter's Custom Creations and have the privilege of helping couples plan one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
Born and raised in South Mississippi, I'm proud to call Kiln, Mississippi home, where I share life with my amazing husband, our three beautiful daughters, and a yard that's happily filled with
animals. Home is where my heart is, and it's where my love for celebrating life's special moments truly began.
For as long as I can remember, I've loved creating beautiful spaces and unforgettable celebrations—but I quickly realized I wasn't the only one. My husband shares that same passion, and together we've always found joy in transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
Whether decorating our home for the holidays, planning elaborate birthday parties for our daughters, or helping family and friends celebrate life's biggest milestones, creating meaningful experiences has always been something we've loved doing together.
Bringing joy to others through thoughtful details, creativity, and heartfelt celebrations has become one of the greatest passions we share. More than that, it has brought us even closer as husband and wife. Building, creating, and celebrating together has strengthened our marriage, deepened our partnership, and reminded us that some of life's greatest moments are the ones we create together—not only for others, but for our own family as well.
Ironically, although I dreamed of planning the perfect wedding, my husband and I chose to elope in 2015 with our daughters by our side. While our wedding was intimate and meaningful, it also deepened my appreciation for the beauty of every couple's unique love story.

As the years went by, I found myself becoming the go-to person whenever family or friends were planning a celebration. Whether it was decorating a home for the holidays, designing birthday parties, or helping organize special events, I genuinely loved being a part of creating meaningful memories.
Then one day, a close friend asked me something that would change my life.
She asked if I would not only stand beside her as a bridesmaid but also plan, design, and coordinate her wedding. Talk about pressure!
I wanted everything to be absolutely perfect—not just because she was my friend, but because I knew how important that day would be to her.
As I watched months of planning come together and saw the joy on her face throughout the day, something clicked. In that moment, I realized this was more than something I enjoyed—it was something I was truly passionate about. Helping couples celebrate one of the biggest moments of their lives felt incredibly rewarding, and I knew I had found exactly what I was meant to do.

After that first wedding, referrals quickly followed.
With the unwavering support of my husband, I took a leap of faith and transformed my lifelong passion into a business.
