The chances of seeing the northern lights were very small on my trip because the weather would not cooperate. We had to reschedule the boat trip 2 times. However with a little patients we got to see a small glimpse of this natural beauty. All while I froze off my booty. 😂

My client gets a bayalage highlight every 6 months or so and consistently glosses when she comes in for her grey coverage retouch every 5 weeks. However, look at her hair. The highs and lows just give a boujie expensive rich color with very little red anywhere!!!

Ok I wish we had time to gloss her but this was an emergency haircut. She had been messed up by someone else because I was all booked up. Nevertheless we got her in asap and fixed her mess of a cut. But we did have a big laugh about it tho!

Sometimes all you need is a retouch and gloss. This client has some bright sparkles so we had to make sure those are tamed and colored. However she already had an existing bayalage which just needed some love. We toned down all the brassyness. Talked about when she should have her next highlights after the holidays and she was on her way.
In and out in 1.5 hrs.

Hello loves! La county has officially allowed hair salons to reopen. I will be taking the weekend to prep the salon and will be taking clients starting June 1st. I will NOT be taking online bookings to control my books and allow for proper sanitation time between clients. Along with this, here are some guidelines for when we return. . The front door to the Pheonix salon will be closed 24/7. You must call so I can let you in. . You will need to read and sign a client health questionnaire before entering. . 1 client at a time. please no children or guests at this time. . I will be using single-use fabrics & tools for each client. . Clean tools, products, styling stations, washing basins after each client . Masks are required by both client and myself. . Washing of hands before and after the entrance of the salon. . I will be cleaning daily from top to bottom! . No food or beverages will be offered or eaten during your service. . I cant wait to see you so let's make sure we both follow all the rules and regulations so we can stay open!
Oil slick💣 . So an oil slick is a hair color style that has a rainbow 🌈 effect however it's usually on dark hair. So like I'd you would see oil on the ground it would have that shine of beautiful colors but in dark black oil. Same concept but with hair. . My favorite part about styling hair is finishing. I love getting to see all the work we put together come out in a great polished, uniformed look.💜 . One of my favorite techniques is to spray up.☝️ A few of my clients have learned this technique and swear by it. It allows you to have volume without sticky tacky product clumps . One of the biggest things you need to remember with applying hairspray or any type of aerosol based product is that you wanna "live in the cloud." You wanna have the can far enough away to have the product Dissipate throughout the hair. If you're too close you get chunks of product.💯 . I usually recommend the size of the can In distance away from her head and start spraying from their. Its usually 10 to 12" . live in the cloud.☁️
