I had the pleasure of assisting Rhiannon AnnonArt Chester with her Mama's Surprise 60th birthday party. The Baltimore Gallery was the perfect venue because we told Mama that her baby girl had work being shown in an art exhibit opening!

I am so thankful for Phil Fresh Simpson allowing me to transform his space for my clients memories.

Shout out to Chandra's Sweet Creations for what I heard was the best red velvet cake folks have ever had!

As usual my bartender YumShots held it down and DJ Stacye J (currently on maternity leave kept the folks on the dance floor).

Designing this party was SO fun because it was a Surprise party so we had to disguise the venue with an actual "art exhibit" of Rhiannon's work for decor.

We were so lucky to work with Alexis Draper for Detroit. She flawlessly wove together the tapestry of a multi-day, multi-venue, multi-issue convening, creating a unique and inviting community space for folx from across the country. We know how hard it is to do what you do, Alexis Draper, but you made it look easy! :) Thanks for being such an amazing partner! (Pro tip: Lex does this for a living, so hit her up, event organizers!)

DeShaunda is a repeat customer of From Lex With Love Event Planning. We did her brother's 10th birthday party and she called me again for her own celebration. She is always taking care of everyone else, so this party was all about her. What better way to host a party at an art gallery than to have your own exhibit opening featuring photos featuring yourself!?!? Thank you so much to my vendors tagged in the pictures. I couldn't have done this without your help and professionalism. Thank you for being an example of how supporting black owned businesses and entrepreneurs can be a HUGE success!

Today we celebrate Richard and Alanna Winfrey on their 1 year anniversary!!!! It was a pleasure to work with them in celebrating their big day. Entrepreneurship is truly a labor of love. You loose sleep. You work harder than you've ever worked before. But the final product is so worth it. Especially when you know your clients are gonna love it.

I have put so much love and intention into the decor of this wedding reception for tomorrow.

I can't wait to see how it all turns out.
