World Sea Turtle Day 🐢🩵✨

There’s something about watching sea turtles move through the ocean that just hits different. That ancient wisdom, that quiet resilience, that knowing they’ve survived on this planet for over 100 million years. I’m obsessed with it.

Living here on the Emerald Coast, I’ve been blessed to witness these incredible creatures in their element. Every time I see one, I’m reminded of why I do what I do. There’s a spiritual power in that moment - a connection to something so much bigger than myself.

These animals embody everything I believe in: resilience, persistence, and the refusal to give up even when the odds are stacked against you. From the second they’re born, their lives are hard. But they don’t stop. They just keep going.

And here’s the good news - conservation actually works. Green sea turtles have made a real comeback. That’s not luck. That’s people choosing to protect what matters. That’s w hat happens when we show up.

Today, let’s celebrate all sea turtles and the ocean they call home. Let’s honor the conservation warriors fighting for them. And let’s remember that recovery is possible when we decide it matters.

I’ve loved getting to know this sweet mama and chatting with her over the years. She’s one of those genuinely kind souls who leaves you smiling after every conversation.
