About
The Wien Center for Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders, Mount Sinai Medical Center was founded in 1949, Mount Sinai Medical Center is the largest private independent not-for-profit teaching hospital in South Florida. Mount Sinai’s Centers of Excellence combine technology, research and academics to provide innovative and comprehensive care in cardiology, neuroscience, oncology and orthopedics.

1Florida Alzheimer’s Disease & Research Center, funded by the National Institute on Aging, evaluates people for diagnosis and participation in research studies. The 1Florida ADRC will have the opportunity to try new medicines to research their effectiveness with slowing down, stopping, or preventing the disease. The center also evaluates people that have memory disorders and problems with thinking functions. The center hopes that many people will agree to donate their brains after they die. The brain donations will allow people to contribute for many years after their death and will help researchers involved in a variety of research projects to learn about the disease and treatments. These discoveries may save the lives of our children for generations to come.

Pro Tip #2 – Invest in a portable label printer - Not only is it convenient for printing out shipping labels on-site, but it really comes in handy for making attendee badges for "at-door" registrants.

Simply print out the pertinent badge information and adhere directly to a blank badge insert. Make the badges look even more official by pre-printing the conference logo onto the blank inserts – EASY!

Pro Tip #1: Use different color lanyards to identify different types of conference participants - i.e. attendee, speaker, poster presenter, exhibitor etc...

Different color lanyards make participants easy to spot from across large rooms.

This tip also works if you want to break the attendees up in to groups for example - green lanyards go to poster 1, orange to poster 2 and so on.
