Today was a reminder of why I love what I do. ❤️

I had the honor of marrying Ivy & Adrian at the beautiful Barnes Place in Adel, and there were definitely a few moments where I had to remind myself to keep it together.

After spending weeks learning about a couple's journey, hearing their stories, and crafting a ceremony around who they are, it's hard not to become invested.

Then wedding day arrives, they're standing in front of everyone they love, he’s walking abuelita down the aisle, and suddenly I'm expected to read the script like I haven't been emotionally attached to it for a month. 😂

What I loved most about today was how present everyone was. There was laughter, there were tears, and there was so much love and support surrounding these two.

Ivy & Adrian, thank you for trusting me to tell your story. It was an absolute privilege to celebrate the beginning of this next chapter with you.

My mom is one of my biggest inspirations, especially when it comes to business 🤍

As the oldest daughter, I’ve had the privilege of watching her walk through so many seasons of life, as a wife, mother, and business owner, handling each one with strength, resilience, and so much grace.

Those are the things I’ve carried with me as I’ve started my own journey through marriage, motherhood, and building a business of my own.

This photo is so special to me because it represents more than just another wedding day. It represents legacy. The quiet lessons, the example she set, the work ethic, the heart behind serving people, and the reminder that women really can build beautiful lives while pouring into the people they love most.

At the rehearsal I threw out, “Okay… hear me out… what if we add a dip?”
They laughed, practiced it, committed to it…

AND LOOK AT THEM 🔥

Perfect. Nailed it. Crowd went wild.

This is what I love most.
Not just standing up there and officiating… but guiding, encouraging, and helping couples step into moments they’ll never forget.

A little structure, a little confidence, and sometimes… a gentle nudge 😉

36 years of marriage. 🤍

My parents are celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary today, and I don’t take for granted what that number really means. It’s years of commitment, growth, choosing each other again and again… even on the hard days.

Last year, I had the absolute honor of officiating their vow renewal ceremony. Standing there, witnessing the love they’ve built and the life they’ve created together… it was one of the most meaningful moments of my career and my life.

They are the foundation of what I know to be a strong, beautiful marriage, and they continue to inspire the way I show up for every couple I work with.

Marriage isn’t about perfection. It’s about partnership, resilience, and a whole lot of love.

And if you’re feeling called to celebrate your own journey, I do offer vow renewal ceremonies. Whether it’s been 5 years or 50, your story deserves to be honored in a meaningful way.

So good connecting with other amazing vendors, trying all the goodies (no regrets 😅), and getting to experience such a beautiful space.
