🌸 We are getting very close to returning to the Historic Valley Junction Farmers Market! 🌸

We will not be at the market tomorrow, June 4, as we’re still waiting for more blooms to come into production.

Meanwhile, here’s a little sneak peek of some of the pretties that are starting to bloom in the garden. 🤗

Saturday planting update 💪🏽🌱

All 120-ish in-ground dahlias have officially been planted! 🤗

We do have a few imported varieties we purchased from a trusted seller that we’ll be observing for the next few years before adding them into the rest of our stock. For extra precaution, those will be grown separately in grow bags away from our regular stock.

The snapdragons are now secured with two layers of hortnova netting, and our very first blooms are starting to show up! ✨

There’s still plenty left to plant, but we’re so happy the weather is finally cooperating with us. One bed at a time, we’re getting there!

First Valley Junction Farmers Market of the season tonight!

Throwback picture to our first market ever, and we are so excited to be back!

These seedlings are about to feel the real outdoors as they begin their journey of hardening off.

For the next 10 days they will gradually increase their time outside, from soft early morning light until they can handle a full day of sun. 🌞

It's not the easiest process - it's the most important to ensure the seedlings we started months ago are ready for outdoor survival 💪🏽
