Last night Bloom by Ami had the honor of participating in the annual Art of Flowers art show in Beaumont. It’s a combination of when art and florals come together. The Florist are given different paints to choose from and we pick one and interpret it in florals. It was so neat to see what how everyone interpreted them. I enjoyed visiting with all my floral friends and meeting new ones! I look forward to this every year! It was so much fun!

Homecoming season is pretty much here. My first one starts on Sept. 4. Before it gets really crazy, I need to make some stuff clear.

1. I will taking orders for all schools in SWLA and SETX. It gets crazy sometimes. With that being said, please indicate which Homecoming and which School it’s for. Helps to keep me straight.

2. Thursday are my drop off days in most areas. I will be letting you know where and what time I plan to meet. If you need it earlier then that, let me know or I will assume it’s for Thursday drop off.
I only deliver to these schools district at the actual school. Deweyville Independent School District and those get there around 7:30 that morning. I deliver those on my way to work. I will not be taking anymore orders for Deweyville after 6 that morning. I also Deliver to all DeQuincy schools and Preschools the day of Homecoming. I will let you know when cut off is for that Homecoming closer to the date. All other Homecomings will be picked up on Thursdays before.

3. Payments. If you place an order to be picked up or delivered to a school. I will need it to be paid at the time the order is placed. I am wasting too much time making orders that do not respond or never show up for pick up after confirming pick up. Mums and garters take time to make, especially the big ones. I very much enjoy making them and learning how. But it’s not fun when it’s time wasted. Also, I work a full time job and have a family. There are many nights, I come home from work, feed kids, bath them, put them to bed and stay up another 6-7 hours working on Homecoming. I value my time.

4. If your date cancels or you cancel your order, please let me know. I will not be upset, but letting me know helps me out a ton. It happens more than you. I understand. Just let me know.

5. Mum cut off time I am sticking to this year. In the past, I let some slide by and it’s not the quality or professionalism that I like. In order to keep them looking fabulous, when I call cut off time. That is it. Unless I have one premade, I won’t be able to do it. I am a one woman business and mums and garters take time to look amazing. I try my hardest to premake and be as prepared as I can. If I tell you no, I am not being mean. I just can’t serve you in the ability I want to. I always have other options available.
If you know you will need a mum or garter, get those orders in NOW! lol!

6. If you order something to be delivered to a school and you kiddo decides to take the day off that day, please let me know. I will deliver it to them or you can pick it up. Just helps out the schools and me when getting things passed out.

7. Thank you for being amazing and keeping me busy during the Homecoming season. I have some of the best clients. I love to hear y’all’s ideas and allowing me to work with ya’ll! Ya’ll truly are some of the best! Looking forward to what this Homecoming season will hold and what all is created!

My Homecoming season is about to kick off! I will be making Homecoming mums, garters, gift baskets, and candy bouquets for all schools in the SWLA and SETX. I will also be making the wrist corsages, bouquets, boutonnières, and floral pocket squares.
