Featured on Rocky Mountain Bride | Wedding Inspiration today! Set against the storied backdrop of Greystone Castle, this editorial explores the tension between softness and intensity through a refined, Old World lens. Inspired by the moodiness of dark academia and the romance of European dinner gatherings, the design centers around a sculptural tablescape that feels both intentional and undone. A pearl-toned linen, draped with a sense of quiet movement, creates a soft foundation reminiscent of couture fabric rather than traditional tabletop styling. Against this backdrop, saturated crimson florals are introduced with restraint, designed in asymmetrical, low compositions that feel collected rather than arranged. The result is a study in contrast: fluid and structured, romantic yet grounded. Rather than relying on abundance, the design embraces editing as a form of luxury. Negative space is treated as an essential element, creating a sense of calm and clarity that allows the materials, tones, and movement to speak for themselves. The final result is an elevated interpretation of modern romance. One that feels thoughtful, layered, and deeply atmospheric, evoking the intimacy of a candlelit evening in a European-inspired estate. Loved working on this project with you all❤️ Planning + Design:
