An unforgettable night of music and movement!
- Our performance was a breathtaking showcase of classic
Middle Eastern musical dialogue, brought to life by an incredible team of musicians. The deep, resonant strings of the Oud and the soaring, emotional lines of the violin carried the melody, while the keyboard provided a rich, orchestral atmosphere. Grounding the entire piece was the driving force of our percussion section: the sharp, crisp beats of the darbuka intertwining flawlessly with the bright, metallic shimmer of the riq.The absolute highlight of the night was the incredibly talented Kaeshi (Kaeshi Chai)! She chose to dance to a recording of my song “Lamouni”, and she did an absolutely amazing job. Kaeshi translated every soulful rhythm and dramatic musical phrase into precise hip drops, fluid undulations, and energetic shimmies that left the crowd completely spellbound.Thank you to everyone who came out to support us, and it was so wonderful to see so many longtime friends in the audience! a Dancer: Song: “Lamouni” e Musicians: Rachid Halihal, Nabil, Said, and Youssef Riq MiddleEasternMusic LivePerformance ArabicDance BellyDancer MusiciansAndDancers Lamouni RachidHalihal
