Appalachian Freunde Polka Band The Appalachian Freunde Polka Band (AF Polka Band) is an Oktoberfest party band that travels across the Southeast US Ein prosit der Gemütlichkeit!

The Appalachian Freunde Polka Band (AF Polka Band) provides musical entertainment and Bavarian/German Oktoberfest atmosphere since 2023. As a Southeast USA German Polka band, AF Polka Band performs at Oktoberfest events and year-round at festivals, parties, corporate events, and restaurants in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, and Virginia. Our library contained polkas, German Rock, American Rock, and contemporary Oktoberfest hits guaranteed to get your feet moving. The band consists of keyboard, clarinet, drums, and cowbells. With a small number of instruments, we provide a full band sound!

Saint Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville, NC had us in for their Oktoberfest on a Friday night, and the hall was ready to flap.

Mike and Diane drove down to Helen, GA to catch Alex Meixner at the Festhalle and get warmed up for this weekend's gigs. Call it research.

Helen is a mountain town built to look like a Bavarian village. Its Oktoberfest is billed as the longest running in the U.S., and this year is number 56. We'll try to keep up.

Friday October 9, 1 to 5 and 6 to 10.
Saturday October 10, noon to 4 and 5 to 10.
Sunday October 11, 10 to 11 and noon to 3:10.
